Shanghai report

Well, it's been a while since I came back from the trip in Shanghai. But I didn't tell anyone about the trip. So I show some pictures and tell some stories what I saw in there.
It was the first time to go to China for me, so I was currious to see and know. I arrived in 浦東国際空港(Pudong international airport) around 9pm. During the flight from Narita to Shanghai, it took about 2 hours and a half, I was sitting in the middle of old men.(I took JAL at that time, I had an "e-ticket" so I didn't need to go to check-in counter, I could check-in with machine and choose seat where I want to sit. But actually there was just one seat left, so I had no other choice Great.) I was talking with a man next to me who is chinese and working in Japan. He used to work for Nintendo, Hitachi, IBM, Microsoft, Sharp, and now he is working for Fujitsu. He can speak japanese very well and we chated about "geek stuff" :P It was fun but I wanted to watch a movie during flight actually...no time for it. He told me about nice restaurants in shanghai also, it was nice.
Julien picked me up in the airport(he was already in there because of his work) and we took a taxi which is unlicensed(my japanese guide book says that "do not take unlicensed taxi, you might be in trouble". Thank you my guide book but my boyfriend didn't listen to you :P) Anyway we arrived in 人民広場(Renmin Guangchang) safely. We droped our stuff in a hotel and went out. We went to the Bund where is the most famous tourist place in Shanghai. I imagined that the city is lighted up but actully it wasn't. Well actually it was too late to go to see the city, the light is turned off around 9pm. We went to have drink in a bar where is in front of the bund, it was a nice place but some how there were many foreigners like American, French etc.... we saw one group who had a blind date with shanghainese girls, it looked it was not working well :D hehe

First impression about Shanghai is "Lundries"! You can see a lot of "pantsu" hung on bamboos or wires just like this picture :) I was very surprised to see it and I'm not used to it, everytime I looked at lundries because if you don't pay attention to it, sometimes a pantsu is on your face when you are walking :P But the city is nice, I liked the area of french consession. There are many shops and bars where is fashionable place. And also it was interesting to see around old city, you can see the real life of chinese people, like women in pyjamas in the street for example. well sometimes I was shocked to see some stuff though...(^_^;) it was fun anyway.

Artistes etrangers a Paris

I went to The National Art Center in Tokyo with my parents to see some works which I wanted to see. Now The national art center gives an exhibition which cellections of the Centre Pompidou in Paris. You can see famous artists works of course like Picasso, Chagall, Leonard Foujita etc., and others too. I haven't been to Centre Pompidou when I've been to Paris, so I was looking forward to see this exhibition.
The works are interesting, you can see paris through photos, paintings, videos from different point of view and also strange stuff which is a little difficult to understand(for me)...but anyway I enjoyed it of course.
I took some pictures of the national art center. This art center is new in Tokyo, a modern building, and you can have french cuisine in there if you want :)

Happy Girl's day!

Here in Japan, it was "ひな祭り(Hinamatsuri)" today. Hinamatsuri is a day of traditional festival for girls.
What we do on this day in Japan? Well, people who has daughters celebrate this festival, like decorating "Hina dolls", eating "Hishimochi(a kind of japanese cake)" or special dishes, drinking "Shirozake(white sake made from sake and malted rice)", well it depends on a family custom but something like this. When I was a kid, we also decorated "Hina dolls" at home from a week before Hinamatsuri to the day of Hinamatsuri. You have to put it back in the box the day after because people say "If you didn't put it back in the box earlier, daugher can not get married when they grown up". Well ok, it's a kind of superstition, maybe old people hoped their daughter will have a happy life.

So anyway, we had "Temaki zushi" for dinner to celebrate this festival. Well except that, I didn't do anything special... I just enjoyed having japanese food :P

Before I die from overwork...

Since last November, I've been busy at work. For example, last month I did overtime for about 50hours! It's almost the same as I work for a week :S And it's getting nomal to leave from work around 9pm everyday... It's a big difference compared I always left from work on time at 5:40pm before. What is the worst thing is that I have to keep doing it until March at least! (>_<) so I decided to do something to escape from Karoshi*, "Let's go to other country!"

Shanghai(上海), China!!!

Actuary I was thinking about going to see Julien in Taiwan but I could not find a ticket. So we decided to meet up in the other country where is not very far from Japan and Taiwan. It was China, not Korea as we've already been there together :P and this is the first time to go to china for me. So it would be nice to see Shanghai with him :) I'm sure it's good to make me refresh too ;)

The new single of TeriyakiBoyz just went out in Japan! This time they played with Kanye West! It was a little funny that Mr. Tamori called him "Kanye-san" :)

Le chef de cuisine de ce soir

今日（1/13）は父の誕生日だったので、バースデイディナーを作りました！ 買い物しに行った先で料理本を見つけ、その中にあったレシピからアイディアを頂戴し作ったのがコレ(Beefy Tostada Pie)です！！ :P
材料は、トルティーヤ・牛挽き肉・たまねぎ・にんにく・ピーマン・パプリカ・トマトソース・オリーブ・パセリ・サワークリーム・塩・コショウ・ クミン・チリパウダー・チリソース・チェダーチーズを使って作りました。 ラザニアのようにミートソースとトルティーヤを層にして作るんですが、とっても美味しくできましたよー☆☆☆v(≧∇≦*)v　父も喜んで食べてくれました！　また作ろうっと♪　お父さん、誕生日おめでとう！


※断面はこんなかんじです。　お肉がたくさん入っているので、一切れでけっこうお腹いっぱいになりました (^_^;)　

How to cop the Parisian attitude

２、３日前にこんな記事を見つけました→ "失礼なパリっ子理解の手引き作成"

観光客への対応がよくないと言われるパリジャンを理解するための指南書が作られたそうです（何それ?! 笑）。 フランス語が話せなくてもパリジャン（に限らずフランス人?）がよく使うジェスチャーを知って彼らを理解しようってことらしいんだけど、これを知って彼らと仲間になれるかっていうとどうかと思うんですけど・・・（苦笑）　"地元民と勘違いされるでしょう"って言われても、結局言葉がわからなければどうしうようもないんじゃって思ってしまったんだけど、みなさんどう思います？(^_^;)

私が初めてパリへ行ったとき街中の人に道を聞いたりしたけど、みなさん親切に教えてくれましたよ。 パリジャンじゃなかったんじゃない？と言われてしまえばそうだったのかもしれませんが・・・（笑） 夜遅くに日本人の女の子（=私）がいきなり声をかけてもみなさん親切な対応をしてくれたのは確かです(^_^)　優しい人なんかフランス語がわからない私に英語で話してくれてすごく助かりました☆　まあ要するに一概にパリジャンが冷たいとは言えないってことだよね。 それはみんなわかってると思うけどさ :P

新しい年になりましたね！早い早い！
１２月はあっという間に過ぎ去って気づけばもうお正月(^_^;)
年末は仕事に追われて忙しい日々を過ごしておりました。。。今年も一生懸命働くぞ！！（苦笑）
大晦日は友達と一緒に過ごしました(^_^)　ギリギリまでファミレスでおしゃべりしていて、年が明ける１５分前に中央公園へ行ってイルミネーションがキレイな中カウントダウンをしました☆　特に大々的にカウントダウンイベントをやっていたわけではなかったけど、どこからともなく人が集まって、みんなクリスマスからおいてあるツリーの前で写真撮ったりお酒飲んだりしてたな（笑） 去年フランスで年明けした時とはかなり違うけど、これもまたいいかなと :P　優子さん、今年もヨロシクね！！

Osaka 2006

11/23、24と大阪に行ってきました！　なんと今回がお初です！！(>_<)　　そして私が今まで行った日本の中で一番西側だったんです！（恥）　日本を知らない日本人・・・・これではいけない！！(-_-;)
1泊2日とかなりのショートステイだったんだけど、私たちは心斎橋にあるホテルに泊まっていたので、街を見て回るには最高の場所だったと思います(^_^)　初日は世界最大級といわれている海遊館（水族館）に行ってお魚たちやジンベイザメを見たりして楽しみました。　サンタクロースのコスチュームを着たダイバーが水槽の中を泳いでいて見てて面白かったわ（笑）　そして夕方はこれまた世界最大級の高さを誇る”大観覧車”に乗って大阪の夜景を楽しみました☆　イルミネーションの写真はその時に撮ったものです。　夜は梅田に行って美味しいしゃぶしゃぶを食べてきました(≧∇≦*)　冷えた体も暖まって最高☆
次の日は心斎橋から道頓堀、大阪城、梅田、アメ村と街を見て歩きました。長距離を歩いて大阪城へ着いたときはクタクタだったわ(^_^;)　でも天気も良かったし、道に並んだ木々の紅葉がきれいで楽しく散歩できました♪　また今度ゆっくり大阪滞在したいなー！o(^_^)o

今日から12月ですね！　本当にあっという間に月日は過ぎていくのね・・・。
ブログの更新も滞っておりますが、近いうち更新するつもりです(^_^;)

Bon anniversaire Eric!!


There was a birthday party of Eric at his place on Saturday 28th, October. I went to the party with my friend and met a lot of people who came from several countries. It was a good party and Eric and his friend cooked french cuisine for everyone. It was tasty! And everybody speak japanese as most of them are students in Japan. It looked funny to see people(foreigners) speak japanese each other, but they can speak very well for sure :)
We enjoyed drinking, eating, smoking shisha(a little :P) and chatting. Good thing is that I could meet many people and talk about many things about Japan and their countries. It was a good time. And again, エリックさん、おめでとう！！(^o^)/

BBC Ice cream Store 1st Anniversary Party

Well, there is a party for Ice cream store's 1st Anniversary on the 17th of November @ WOMB Shibuya, Tokyo! I just found this news yesterday and I think I will go to this party :) Of course you can see Pharrell Williams, Nigo, Uffie and DJ FEADZ from ED BANGER as guests and others too. It sounds good ;) Try to get tickets first!!

The weight of this amethyst is 43.2kg which is 5kg heavier than my friend's weights :P

Yingge

Yingge is a touristic place but it was nice. It is a famous place as a pottery town so I bought a tea set for my family :)
